SOLIDARITY ACTIONS

It’s already a tradition for the Portuguese Volleyball Federation (FPV) to take some solidarity actions in the holydays season, through its Gira-Volei Technical Department, which aims to bring joy to children in need for attention.

As sports can act as a therapy – one only needs to see the smile in a kid’s face when holding a ball – FPV will try, once again, to provide a different day for those who are less fortunate.

This year, the solidarity actions will take place on December 18, at the São João do Porto boarding school and at the Professional Institute of Terço, two centenary institutions which provide aid for those in need.
