NATIONAL TEAM DEPARTES
TOMORROW TO CANADA

Men’s National Team departs tomorrow heading Mississauga, Canada where will play its second 2013 FIVB World League Pool C opponent, on June 7-8.

In its 10th appearances in the FIVB World League, the team coached by Flavio Gulinelli played already two matches against Finland, being downed in the first and having won the second. [Calendar]

Itinerary:
June 5 – Porto / Lisbon, 10h25 / 11h20 (flight TP 1957)
June 5 – Lisbon / P. Delgada / Toronto, 12h30 / 18h45 (flight S4 321)

Portugal will play both matches against Canada at the Hershey Center, Mississauga, in the upcoming Friday and Saturday, both at 19h00 local timing (00:00 GMT) with the live coverage of Sport TV.

The return to Portugal is set to June 9 – flight TS 764 – Toronto / Porto, 23h55 / 11h50 (June 10).

The Portuguese players will be training in Canadian soil:
June 6: 15h00 / 17h00 local
June 7: 09h00 / 10h30 local
June 8: 09h00 / 10h30 local
June 9: 13h00 / 15h00 local

The National Team started its 2013 FIVB World League participation at Finland (31 May, June 1) and will play away two more weekends: Canada (June 7-8) and The Netherlands (June 22-23), finishing the Intercontinental Round at Guimarães versus Japan (June 29-30) and South Korea (July 6-7) [Official Programme]
