A positive balance (7 wins and 4 losses) for the European clubs with Portuguese players in their rosters. Aich/Dob (Austria), Castellana Grotte (Italy), Poitiers (France), Murcia (Spain), Friedrichshafen (Germany) and Stod (Norway) where the victors.

Valdir Sequeira’s SK Posojilnica Aich/Dob qualified for the AVL Superleague Playoffs, by defeating for the third consecutive time, SG Cemtec Supervolley (3-1: 25-20, 25-14, 23-25 and 25-23).
On March 23, Aich/Dob will face VC Amstetten Hypo NO, while the defending champions Hypo Tirol VB will play SG Raiffeisen Arbesbach in the other semi-final.

For Serie A1 Round of 16, BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte is to play Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia for the 3rd time on March 24, after winning the 1st match by 3-2 (27-25, 25-21, 21-25, 24-26 and 15-13) and losing the 2nd in straight sets (0-3: 20-25, 18-25 and 19-25).

In France, Tours VB without injured Nuno Pinheiro, lost to Nantes Rezé (0-3: 17-25, 23-25 e 15-25), but still stands atop of Ligue Pro A.
Tours will meet AS Cannes tomorrow (March 19), current 6th ranked team. On March 30, Tours and Toulouse will meet at the Cup of France Final.
André Lopes’ Chaumont kept the 4th rank despite the loss at Montpellier (2-3: 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 23-25 and 20-22), while Carlos Teixeira’s Stade Poitevin Volley Beach climbed to the 4thrank of Nationale 1 Playoff, by downing CA Brive/Correze Volley (3-0: 25-15, 30-28 and 25-16).

Núria and Bonémia’s UCAM Vóley Murcia qualified for the Spanish Superleague Semi-Finals, when we’re one round away of the regular stage finale, by cruising past Gran Canaria 2014 (3-0: 25-22, 27-25 and 25-17).
Núria scored 10 points, while Bonémia recorded 3, despite playing for a few minutes.

In Norweay, Stod Volley Steinkjer, coached by André Sá, kept the 2nd rank and maintains in the race for the Elite Division leadership, posting a double victory over the weekend at Uis Volley, both in straight sets (3-0: 25-8, 25-19, 25-15) on Saturday and (3-0: 25-17, 25-13, 25-15) on Sunday.

In Germany, João José’s VFB Friedrichshafen begin well the Bundesliga 1 Playoffs – Quarter Finals by downing Evivo Duren in three sets (3-0: 25-20, 25-20 and 25-19). The Portuguese middle blocker recorded 5 points for his team.

In Switzerland, Rui Santos’ Chênois Volleyball Club descended to the 5th rank of the Swiss League Playoffs, after losing to Volley Nafels I (0-3: 18-25, 19-25 and 22-25).

Tiago Violas’ Jastrzebski Wegiel SA which beat Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle by 3-0 (27-25, 28-26 and 25-23), in the PlusLiga Semi-Finals 1st match, will play again at home on March 23.
