OLYMPIC WEEK DEBUTS IN PORTO
 

Volleyball will be present at the Olympic Week, Portugal’s biggest Olympism promotion event, which will take place in Porto, for the first time ever, from 10-14 December 2012.

João Brenha and Miguel Maia (in picture), athletes who participated 3 times in the Olympics in the Beach Volleyball event, will be signing autographs on December 13, from 10h30m to 12h00.

The Olympic Week is an event organised by the Olympic Athletes Committee (CAO) with the collaboration of the Portuguese Olympic Committee (COP) and the School of Sports of the University of Porto (FADEUP), with the institutional support of the Portuguese Sports & Youth Institute (IPDJ).

The event will take place at FADEUP’s facilities, where the participants will have the opportunity to practice such sports as Athletics, Handball, Boxing, Canoeing, Fencing, Gymnastics, Golf, Hockey, Judo, Swimming, Rugby, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis and Volleyball.
