The European Competitions round which starts tomorrow is decisive for
the only Portuguese team present and for some clubs who include
Portuguese players in their rosters. Stod Volley Steinkjer, coached by André Sá, will host this Wednesday Obuda Vasas Budapeste (Hungary) for the return match of the 2nd round of qualification. In the first leg, the Norwegian won by 3-2 (27-25, 15-25, 26-24, 9-25 e 15-12). On their turn, Swiss Chênois Volleyball Club and Rui Santos, eliminated from CEV Cup, will face the winner of the match SPCZ Brno (Czech Republic) - CVC Gabrovo (Bulgaria).
For the 2013 CEV Champions League – Men Pool A, João José’s VFB
Friedrichshafen will host Belgium side Knack Roeselare in a matchday 4
fixture.
For CEV Cup, Tiago Violas’ Jastrzebski Wegiel SA is a step closer to the
quarter-finals, as the Polish side only needs to confirm tomorrow the
first leg result (3-1: 25-15, 25-14, 24-26 e 25-17) achieved in Turkey
