Nas competições extra fronteiras, apenas o Wegiel, de Tiago Violas, e o Stod Volley, de André Sá, conseguiram vencer. In the overseas competitions, only Tiago Violas’ Wegiel and André Sá’s Stod Volley managed to win. Moralized by their qualification for the CEV Cup Round of 16, after beating the French Rennes Volley 35, where they will play MMP Ankara (Turkey), Violas’ Jastrzebski Wegiel SA defeated PGE Skra Belchatów (3-1: 26-24, 20-25, 25-12 e 25-23) thus climbing to the 4th place in the standings of the Polish League. Violas recorded 1 point from service. In the next round the portugese setter’s team will visit Zaksa Kozle, current leader of Plus Liga. For its part, Norwegian Stod Volley, coached by André Sá, beat in straight sets, Danish Fredriksberg (25-18, 25-18 e 25-19), Swedish Engelholm (25-20, 25-20 e 25-12) and Danish Brondby (25-23, 25-15 e 25-21), in back-to-back matches, hence qualifying for the Nordic League Final scheduled for January of 2013. on November 11 they will play the Norwegian Cup Quarter-Finals, on November 14 it’s scheduled to play in Hungary against Obuda Vasas Budapeste, for the Challenge Cup, and on November 17 Stod Volley will face NTNUI Volley for the Elite Division of Norway. João José’s VFB Friedrichshafen, after sustained a loss at the hands of Zenit Kazan (0-3: 17-25, 21-25 e 22-25) for the CEV Champions League – matchday 2, managed to overcome CV Mitteldeutschland (3-2: 23-25, 18-25, 25-14, 25-21 e 16-14) thus maintaining their 4th place in the standings. The Portuguese captain recorded 2 points versus Zenit and 13 in front of ao Mitteldeutschland. On November 7 Friedrichshafen will play Netzhoppers for the German Cup. Marcel Gil’s RWE Volleys Bottrop defeated in straight sets TSGL Schoneiche (3-0: 25-16, 25-16 e 25-23) and continues to lead Bundesliga 2 North. The next match is scheduled for November 11 in a away clash with Tecklenburg Land Volleys. Tânia Duarte’s VG Wiwa Hamburg was stunned at home by Kieler (0-3), thus descending to the 7th place of women’s German Regional North. In the next gameday (November 10) Wilma will visit o Lubecker TS (3rd place). After losing at home to Trentino Diatec for the CEV Champions League 0-3 (19-25, 16-25 e 23-25), Nuno Pinheiro’s Tours VC has moved closer to the first place of Liga Pro A, after beating Tourcoing VB 3-1 (25-21, 25-21, 21-25 e 25-14). On the other hand, André Lopes’ Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 Haute Marne lost 2-3 (24-26, 25-23, 17-25, 25-19 e 11-15) and descended to the 12th place. On the next round, Chaumont will visit Toulouse, while Tours will play away with Montpellier.
