Marcel Gil’s RWE Volleys Bottrop has remained undefeated in the lead of Bundesliga 2, while in Poland, Tiago Violas and Wegiel climbed in the standings, now resting at second place. Nuno Pinheiro’s Tours VC dropped to third in the French main championship.
Tours VB has encountered unexpected difficulties to overcome Beauvais (3-2: 25-23, 22-25, 23-25, 25-23 e 15-12). As Tours only added 2 points this week, they dropped to third in the standings, but only 1 point behind Paris Volley and Sète.
On the other hand, André Lopes Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 Haute Marne achieved their first victory in the season, beating at home Avignon: 3-1 (25-23, 25-21, 22-25 e 25-15).
Meanwhile in Germany, João José’s VFB Friedrichshafen overcame VC Dresden in straight sets (3-0: 25-19, 25-19 e 25-15), putting the loss to Berlin RV in the inaugural day behind their backs. The Portuguese captain had a great performance recording 8 points.
In Bundesliga 2 North, RWE Volleys Bottrop and Marcel Gil remain undefeated. This week they managed to beat KMTV Eagles Kiel in straight sets (3-0: 25-12, 25-19 e 25-16).
In Germany’s Regional North Championship, Tânia Duarte kept their 7th place in the standing, as VG Wiwa Hamburg lost (0-3) to Eimsbutteler TV.
In Italy’s Serie A, o BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte coached by Flavio Gulinelli, and where the Ferreira brothers play was stunned at home by Sir Safety Perugia (2-3: 29-27, 17-25, 16-25, 25-19 e 16-18).
In Switzerland’s Nationale A, Rui Santos o Chênois Volleyball Club dropped to 8th as they lost (0-3: 24-26, 18-25 e 26-28) to Volley Amriswil I.
Moving to Poland, Tiago Violas Jastrzebski Wegiel SA climbed to the second place after defeating Lotos Trefl Gdansk (3-0: 25-21, 25-21 e 25-23).
