Joao Jose’s VFB Friedrichshafen started the 2012/13 season with the wrong foot, losing to the defending champions Berlin Recycling Volleys in the Bundesliga 1 opening day.
A few days earlier, Friedrichshafen beat one of the championship contenders Generali Haching (3-0: 25-22, 25-17 e 25-22), in a friendly match that would boost their morale for the opening against Berlin. Now, Coach Stelian Moculescu says: “We need to improve our game”.
The Portuguese middle blocker (photo: www.vfb-volleyball.de) recorded 12 points against Generali and 10 points against Berlin RV.

In the French Liga Pro A, Nuno Pinheiro’s Tours VC overcame Avignon ( 3-1: 25-22, 21-25, 25-18 e 25-18) with 5 points from the Portuguese setter. In the next matchday Tours VC will host Beauvais.
Though luck for André Lopes and Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 Haute Marne as they lost in Paris 0-3: 21-25, 19-25 e 23-25. The Portuguese wing spiker managed to attack for 3 times. Chaumont will host Avignon on the Ocotober 20.
