2012 SPORTZONE SUPERCUP SET FOR COIMBRA

The 2012 Sportzone Super Cup, which will put head-to-head the 2011/2012 National Champion, Sporting Clube de Espinho and the 2011 Portuguese Cup winners, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, will be held in the next 5th October at 17h30, in the Multisports Hall of Coimbra.

The 14th edition is organized by the Portuguese Volleyball Federation, with the collaboration of Coimbra Volleyball Association and Associação Académica de Coimbra, and the local aid of the Coimbra City Hall. The match will be broadcasted by Sport TV.

The Super Cup has been played since 1990, being this trophy won by several teams along the time. Castelo da Maia GC has won the trophy for 5 times, Sporting Clube de Espinho 4 times, Sporting Clube de Portugal for 3 times and Sport Lisboa e Benfica for once. [Historical]
