PORTUGUESE LADIES
PLAY ROMANIA TOMORROW
Women Senior National Team play tomorrow (16h30 local time) Romania in the Valbruna Rovinj Sports Hall, Croatia, in their first match of the 2nd tournament for the 2013 European Championship Qualifiers.
The Portuguese will face Romania, (undefeated in Pool D), Croatia, (the home team) and Great Britain against who Portugal lost by very balanced sets in the 1st tournament (23-25, 22-25 e 28-30). [Schedule and referees]
The first ranked teams will qualify automatically to the final round, while the second ranked teams will have to dispute a playoff in the 3rd round. The second ranked team of this pool will play the second ranked team from pool F (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary and Latvia). [Standings]
The Final Round of the 2013 European Championship will be held in Germany and Switzerland, which are already qualified, as host nations. Also set for the final stage are Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Poland and Russia.
