NATIONAL TEAM EN ROUTE TO TURKEY

In the National Team’s mind the goal of qualifying for the 2013 European Championhip remains unscathed, although the favoritism is now on the side of Belarus, which won three out of three matches in the 1st tournament, held in Vila do Conde. [Standings Pool A]

Tomorrow, Gulinelli’s boys depart to Turkey where the 2nd qualifying tournament is to be held, from 14-16 September. Only the first ranked team of each pool qualifies directly to the final round. The second ranked team from Pool A will play the second ranked team from Pool F (currently Latvia) for the ultimate chance of reaching the European Championhip. [Standings Pool F]

The 2nd tournament will take place in Ankara, capital of Turkey, from 14 to 16 of September where, the National Team will play Belarus, Great Britain and Turkey by this order. [Schedule]
