ARRIVED AT ARGENTINA

The National Team has arrived to Argentina.

The National Team Head Coach continues to highlight that the goal is to "play each day better" having in mind the participation in the European Qualification Phase for the European Championship 2013. He also shows himself upbeat:
"Since we came from Germany (1st Tournament), we endured 10 days of great work. We carried out a heavy workload in physical terms... and I have to confess that I thought the players wouldn't make it to the end. Mas they effectively did and as so I'm curious to see what we will be able to achieve here in Argentina".

Marcel Gil (photo) who hasn't been playing due to injury, will have his chance to perform now.
"The injury increased my motivation to play. I sat for a month. It was a sad period for me and I was away from competition too long. But now I'm back. Couldn't be any happier".
Our opponents are very strong. Argentina is fast but we can surprise Germany and Bulgaria if we serve well. In the matches played in Germany I appreciated our serves against Bulgaria and Germany as well as the defense. Meanwhile we have been training the block action. The first international experience is always the most difficult one, but the players have learned a lot since Frankfurt and they will now play it more quietly".
