The Beach Volleybal Team José Pedrosa / João Simões were not very good in their participation in the Prague Open taking place in Czech Republic.

In the 1st round of the qualifying, and despite the good reply, Pedrosa and Simões lost by 0-2 (18/21 and 23/25) against Alexey Kuleshov and Dmitriy Yakovlev (Kazakhstan). With this result, the Portuguese were classified in the 57th position and added six points in the FIVB World Ranking.
