WEGIEL WINS WITH TIAGO VIOLAS...
In Poland, Jastrzebski Wegiel SA of Tiago Violas and current the 3rd in
the PlusLiga won by 3-2 (25/23, 20/25, 25/21, 21/25 and 15/10) against
the AZS Politechnika Warszawska. Violas was used in the second and
fourth sets.
In France, Stade Poitevin Pro Volley-Ball of Andre Lopes, Nuno Pinheiro
and Carlos Teixeira won by 3-2 (25/21, 23/25, 22/25, 36/34 and 15/11) but could not prevent the Tours to isolate
in the leadership of the
French League. Nuno Pinheiro scored six points (two attacks, two blocks
and 2 serves), Carlos Teixeira was not used and the libero was Andre
Lopes.
In League B, Ason Volley Ball Orange-Nassau of Marco Ferreira won by 3-1
(25/21, 30/28, 32/34 and 25/18) against the Saint- Brieuc and remains in
the 8th place of the table.
Libertas Brianza Cassa Rurale Cantu of Valdir Sequeira lost at home by
0-3 (24/26, 16/25 and 23/25) against Energy Resources Carilo Loreto.
Valdir scored 13 points (10 attacks, 2 serves and one block).
The VC Argex Duvel Puurs of Frederico Siqueira, who is now in the 8th place in the Belgian League lost by 2-3 (20/25, 25/17, 21/25, 25/23 e
9/15) agaisnt Prefaxis Menen. Frederico scored 5 points (2 attacks and 3
blocks).
