V NATIONAL MEETING OF
GIRA-VOLEI MONITORS

The Fifth National Meeting of Gira-Volei Monitors will be organized on the 17th of December by the Portuguese Volleyball Federation (FPV). This meeting "happens in order to provide coaches / teachers working with volleyball training experts in the organization of sport skills by providing tools and innovative concepts in the organization and implementation for the practice of Gira-Volei" according to the organizers.

The event to be held at the Escola EB2,3/S Dr. João Brito Camacho in Almodovar, will be primarily aimed at managers and monitors of the Gira-Volei centers, managers and technical directors of the regional volleyball associations, teachers of all levels of education, higher education students, athletes and other people who are interested.

Under the slogan "Gira-Volei: From level I to level II", the Fifth National Meeting will feature special lecturers, like Leonel Salgueiro, National Coordinator of Gira-Volei, and Carlos Prata, Coordinator of Formation Department in FPV as well as lectures from Nuno Alves and Rúben Lança, intern teachers of the High School of Castro Verde.

The moderators are Daniel Lacerda, National Technical Director and former National Coordinator of the Gira-Volei, Leonel Salgueiro and Victor Pereira, responsible for coordinating the current Gira-Volei at national level.
