PORTUGUESEPLAYERS  WITH GOOD SCORES

The VFB Friedrichshafen of João José added two important victories in the German Cup and Bundesliga 1. In the German Cup, the Portuguese middle blocker qualified for the semi-finals winning against the VC Gotha by 3-0 (25/20, 25/21 and 25/21). João José scored 10 points (5 attacks, 4 blocks and 1 serve). In the championship, the German champion overcame Volleys BR by 3-1 (19/25, 25/20, 25/22 and 32/30), and the captain of the Portuguese national team scored: 16 points (9 attacks and 7 blocks).

The Stade Poitevin Pro Volley-Ball of Andre Lopes, Carlos Teixeira and Nuno Pinheiro, also played two matches, but for the French League. In visit to Rennes they lost by 2-3 (25/23, 22/25, 18/25, 25/18 and 13/15), with Andre Lopes to be little used and scored 1 point, while Nuno Pinheiro scored 4 points. Then Poitevin Pro Volley-Ball won against Narbonne by 3-1 (26/24, 25/18, 21/25 and 25/19). In this match, André Lopes was the best scorer of his team with 17 points (12 attacks, 4 blocks and 1 serve), while Nuno Pinheiro scored 1 point.

The Ason Volley-Ball Orange Nassau of Marco Ferreira won against Martigues by 3-1 (25/20, 25/19, 19/25 and 25/22). Marco Ferreira was not used against the Martigues.

In Italy, the Libertas Brianza Cassa Rurale Cantu of Valdir Sequeira lost two consecutive matches.
The first, on the grounds of NGM Mobile Santa Croce, by 1-3 (19/25, 25/18, 16/25 and 16/25), with the Portuguese player scoring 17 points (15 attacks and 2 serves). The second, at home, 2-3 (25/22, 25/23, 22/25, 18/25 and 10/15), against the Pallavolo Molfetta, with Valdir to be the best
scorer of his team, with 18 points (17 attacks and 1 serve).

The VC Argex Duvel Puurs of Frederico Siqueira, won against the PNV-Waasland Kriub Nieuwk 3-1 (25/22, 25/16, 22/25 and 25/17). The Portuguese middle blocker scored 11 points (7 attacks, 3 blocks and 1 serve).
