CD RIBEIRENSE CONTINUES
IN THE CALLENGE CUP

The Clube Desportivo Ribeirense, national champion and winner of the Cup of Portugal, won today against the Kanti Schaffhausen (Swistzerland) by 3-1 (25/23, 20/25, 25/12 and 25/22) and 17/15 in the Golden Set, and they are in the next round of the Womens' Challenge Cup. They are now going to face the Czech team Brno the Kralovo Pole.

The first leg will be in Azores on the 10th, 11th or 12th of January, 2012, and then CD Ribeirense will visit the opponent on the 17th, 18th or 19th of January, for the second leg.

More unfortunate was the Clube Sports Madeira, which failed to rectify the result of first leg brought from Switzerland and yesterday lost again by 0-3 (21/25, 24/26 and 12/25) with the Volley Koeniz.
